| MY-IPBOX does not install properly, and I only see static/snow on the screen. |

How to update the driver manually when the device driver is incorrectly installed.

Step 01 : Insert the installation CD into the CD/DVD drive.
|
Step 02 : Make sure that IPBOX capture device is connected to your PC via the USB cable.
|
Step 03 : In [Device Manager], the device driver needs to be updated. Double-click on the device (marked with RED below).
How to access the Device Manager.
- Start -> select My Computer.
- Click on “View system information” from the top left of the My Computer window.
- Click on the Hardware tab of the System Properties window.
- Click on [Device Manager] button.
Locate and double-click on the Device driver for your IPBOX.
Note: The device may appear incorrectly as USB PVR-TVor USB 2861 device.

Step 04: Under the Driver tab, select [Update Driver] option.

Step 05 : The Hardware Wizard should launch and present the following question.
Select “ No, not this time”, and click the [ Next >] button.

Step 06 : Select the “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)” option and click [Next >].
|
Step 07 : Select the “Don’t search, I will choose the driver to install” option and click [Next >].
|
Step 08 : Select the “Have Disk…” button and click [Next >].
|

Step 09 : Click the [Browse…] button and select the correct path to the driver for your specific version of Windows.

Windows Xp OS : CDRom(F) \ Device Driver \ winxp Driver \ PnP
Windows Vista OS : CDRom(F) \ Device Driver \ Vista Driver \ PnP \ 32
Windows Xp 64Bit OS : CDRom(F) \ Device Driver \ winxp Driver \ PnP \ amd64
Windows Vista 64Bit OS : CDRom(F) \ Device Driver \ Vista Driver \ PnP \ 64

Step 10 : The files on the installation CD will be copied to the hard drive (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers folder).

Step 11 : When you see the following dialogue, select [Yes].
|
Step 12 : Go to [Device Manager] and verify that the device driver was correctly installed.
Check if the device is recognized with the name as shown below.
Windows Xp User : DeviceDriver Name = [ USB2.0 IPBOX Gadmei].
Windows Vista User : DeviceDriver Name = [ USB2.0 IPBOX- Gadmei].
Note: On Windows Vista systems, you will see a hyphen (-) in the device name (between IPBOX and Gadmei).

Step 13 : Open MY-IPTV Anywhere Server and select the Option button.
|
Step 14 : Select appropriate devices as shown below.
