How to set up a static IP address using Netgear Router
(WGR614v6, WGT624v3, WGT624v3 RV) |

1. Right-click on “My Network Places” icon on the desktop.

2. When the below screen is displayed, right-click on “Local Area Connection”
and select “Properties”.

3. Select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” and click on “Properties”.

4. To assign a static IP address, select "Use the following IP address" and
configure to setting.
- In "IP address" field, enter "192.168.1.2".
- In "Subnet mask" field, enter "255.255.255.0"
- In "Default gateway" field, enter "192.168.1.1"
- "Preferred DNS server" may differ depending on your internet configuration.
Please check the DNS server information.
