How to set up a static IP address using Linksys Router
(BEFSR41)
Right-click on “My Network Places” icon on the desktop.
When the below screen is displayed, right-click on “Local Area Connection” and select “Properties”.
Select “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)” and click on “Properties”.
To assign a static IP address, select "Use the following IP address" and configure to setting.
In "IP address" field, enter "192.168.1.100"
In "Subnet mask" field, enter "255.255.255.0"
In "Default gateway" field, enter "192.168.1.1"
"Preferred DNS server" may differ depending on your internet configuration.
Please check the DNS server information.
